Remove duplicate bookmarks
Add one or more bookmarks.html files. The tool keeps the first copy of every link, drops the repeats, and gives you one clean file to import back into your browser.
Your files are read in your browser and never uploaded. No account needed.
Drag your bookmarks.html files here, or
Add files from several browsers to merge them into one.

Duplicates found
The first copy is kept. The ones below it are left out of the download.

Kept:
No duplicates found. Your bookmarks are already tidy.
How it works
- Export your bookmarks. Every browser can save its bookmarks as an HTML file. See the steps for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Add the files above. Two links count as duplicates when they point to the same address once tracking tags like
utm_sourceare removed. The first copy wins, in the order you added the files. - Download the clean file and import it. In Chrome, open the Bookmark manager, click the three-dot menu, and choose Import bookmarks. In Firefox, open the Library, then Import and Backup and Import Bookmarks from HTML.
Questions
Will importing replace my current bookmarks?
No. Browsers add imported bookmarks next to the ones you already have, usually in a new folder. To end up with only the clean set, keep your export as a backup, delete the old bookmarks in your browser, then import the clean file.
Are my bookmarks uploaded anywhere?
No. The files are read by this page in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server, and closing the tab clears everything.
Which links count as the same?
Links match when their addresses are identical after utm_ tracking parameters are removed. Different pages on the same site, or the same page with other parameters, stay separate, so nothing you meant to keep is merged by accident.
Can it stop duplicates coming back?
Not on its own. A free Reading Rewind account syncs your Chrome and Firefox bookmarks, and the Duplicate URLs queue in its Cleanup Center lists repeated links as they appear, so you can tidy them in batches.
